Bevolite Rototary Evaporator (Rotovap) w/ Flasks and Heat Bath

Description

The rotary evaporator, or rotovap for short, is a machine that transverses industries, these include – medical/pharmaceutical, academia,research, and many more. The equipment is especially suitable for condensing,crystallizing, separating and solvent recycling.
The evaporatoroperates on the principal of lowering the boiling point of solution you desireby exerting a vacuum within the rotovap. The boiling flask submerges thesolution in a bath of heated liquid, usually water, and spins to ensure maximum surface area. The evaporated gas, usually ethanol alcohol, is then condensed back to its liquid temperature by the condensing pipe. The condensing pipe is added by a chiller, we recommend using the Bevolite brand chiller. The liquid is then collected in the receiving flask to be disposed of or resued as needed.In a perfect world the solution would be a 1:1 ratio but some of the solution is lost naturally. The rotovap includes various high-quality seals to insure there is no leakage with in the rotovap, or fromt he needed reciprocating pump or chiller.
